We recommend starting with Ballroom dance classes, Swing dance classes and/or Salsa dance classes. We also have beginner dance classes in Argentine tango and West Coast swing. In collaboration with dance professionals, competitors and judges, we have created our unique Core Elements Training program, which uses conceptual methods of instruction rather than rote memorization. The Pattie Wells dance studio focuses on social ballroom dancing with San Diego dance classes in all these dance genres: Latin, ballroom, tango, salsa, swing, country western, nightclub two step, hustle, West Coast swing and Argentine tango. We use an innovative teaching system created by Pattie called Core Elements Training (CET). This method of dance instruction uses conceptual techniques rather than an outdated rote learning system. Our professional dance instructors are both experienced dance instruction professionals and dancesport competitors.
